heheheh... I was on the "wait" portion of a "hurry up and wait" excercise when Hurricane Ivan came in, and One fo the other SGT's got out a little Armor identification book. I had a lot of fun telling him where the books pictures were innacurate. Now By no means am I an expert but I remember most vehicles/designations when I see them. I think some of it comes from playing "Steel Panthers" and the sequals... every time you pull up a unit it shows a picture... after a while it all gets stuck in there.

I will say on the seaplane jet... i looked up the tail # to ID it <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

ok, so do you know the NAME of the Saunders-Roe SR.A/1 ????

A 9mm MAY expand, but a 45 will NEVER shrink!

...they are both banshee, but they showed a pic of a canadian banshee, the newer F2H-3 version. A little bit irritating.

I know the pics are small but there are a couple of big differences between the two that also negativly affect ID... the horizontal stabilizer is dropped about 10 inches maybe even a foot, and the cockpit apears to be moved forward a littlebit or perhaps the nose is stubbed... eh well to hell with it... next

I generally use Photobucket.com you upload the picture and after that it will have 3 different links.

You'll want to use the standard URL, BUT it will copy with [img]and[/img] you'll have to replace that with the lower case ( ) don't know why that is

oh and Homer... if it never flew then it was just a really jacked up car... you need to take the pic to the motor forum and try to have Snipe ID it >:D
