I have never understood why an A-10 forum just doesn't work?? I hate to say it but here is where the A-10 community falls far behind other air-frames...sad really...and the Facebook sections seems to be losing steam also...

Well, it may not be getting busy here, but this forum isn't going anywhere. It will be waiting for the traffic whenever it shows up. Not much we can do to make people post here. |

Dice, I feel like an "Old Dawg" that's been set free by its Owner. The A-10 has changed so much, You guys all have several Tours under your belt and all I can do is "Remember the Sand Pit from the 90-91 days". 22 years ago I fought my fight with the "Old Girl" over there. But it seems to me that what We did was just to Stir the Pot so you guys and Younger Kids could go over and do it all over again.. So its like I said ' Its kind of hard to follow the New MODS and Bombs etc... we didn't have. |

I know Goose, if I had not been involved with the design of the A-10C I would have been lost to. I do try but, I'm still not up to-date on everything on the A-10C. Hey that's the way it goes, the younger ones of today with be the "old guys" in the future.

If I may? I think I know why the A-10 sites don't do as well as sites for other airframes. While she has been around for decades, and thousands of people have maintained her over that time, there never were the numbers of A-10's as we've seen for other, lesser airframes. I mean, there were untold thousands of F-4 built over the years, and F-15's and especially the F-16's. There really was only one version of the A-10 ever mass produced. All other models have been upgrades to the existing A models. That and maybe lack of advertising. I'll thow up a notice on AFTWS if you'd like. |
