OK, I'm needing a lil' help finding a good detail photo showing the upper part of the engine nacelle...specifically interested in the clamshell door hinge details. (That part is normally lost in most photos of the pod, because the photographer is on the ground looking up) It's a good picture if I can count the rivets. Anybody? |

Fritz, not certain how up to date you're looking to make your drawings but there's some external changes on the hawg, a few are quite distinct. It may be a year or so before they become commonplace. Before you ask, no, I can't send you pics due to the nature of the mods. OC |

Dunno what external changes you're referring to, but it doesn't seem to me like the hinge on the top of the clamshell door would be a sensitive area. That's all I'm interested in. I can't see it any of the photos I have...they are all taken from the ground, so the angle puts it just out of sight. |

It's difficult to see the detail shadowed by the wing, which includes the sponson around the main gear doors. I have great shots for both ends of it, but not the middle. It's not a high priority item, though, since it will probably likewise be shadowed by the wing in my illo. The hinge on the nacelle is my real headache. |
