Aw jeez guys, cry me a river with all this \"old\" talk. You're not old unless you've spent hours trying to find out why you've got a 600 RPM mag drop..you're not old until you've had to beat on the side of the fuselage because the bone head pilot isn't paying attention to the fire guard and stays on the primer too long..gives new meaning to the saying \"Fire that mother up\"; you're not old unless you know what to do in case of an intake fire (keep it cranking) or a stack fire (get off the starter).

I, on the other hand, am OLD.

Your only as old as the Jet you worked on :D
We had C-140A's that were 1958 models :D and the NEW ONE 1962,
then my first jet was a 61 model T-39 then I DCC a 62 model.

Man when I got to A-10's I thought \"WOW Brand New Jets!!!!!!!!!\" an 80 model! The first Jet I crewed that I was older then.

Chief you can have \"Bragging Rights\" on the \"Stack fire\" :D

But really, The Green A-10's were the BADDEST, MEANEST , MO-FO A-10's .

I'm not Bias

Take about making a job easier now than it started out to be how about the aircraft engine water washes. After they put those two hookup's by the right hydraulic accumulator the job became 100% easier.

But that PD-680 goesn't come out of your uniform until about the 3rd wash
The bucket, rag and soap washing the inlet and blades was a real \"Joy\" in the winter :(
