Here’s my new Hawgsmoke video, it’s not finished yet there are a few minor timing and trimming issues to take care of but, I wanted you guys imputes before I make the final cuts. Let me know what you like and dislike about the video. There is some adult language (one spot) in the video so watch where you play it if you play it loud.

BTW I had to do this test in Real Media Player because I’m having some issues with Window Media Player. It’s causing “Micro-stutters” in my video and I don’t know why.

Dutchy, you'll probably have to download it first (right click>save as) and then play it from wherever you downloaded it to.

As always, great job.

I hope you can get it to work on Media Player. When we put it on Hawgsmoke.com, people won't be able to view it on base if it isn't. That's where most of our traffic comes from.

Great job!

Thanks guys I'll get it finished by the weekend. StrangeLuv, I think I have a work-around for my windows media issue.

Dice, sounds like the same problem I had with the video I made, to \"Kickstart My Heart\" if you can remember. The version I made didn't have the skips, but transferring it to WMV it skipped...never did find the problem to get it fixed, just uploadedd the video with the skips... [angry]
Hey what program do you use? I just got a new one, ULEAD video studio 11, it seems to be everything I have wanted, so far..... Can play up to 6 different video tracks at once (for picture-in-picture style)

BTW I tried downloading it, it said the page could not be found....

HogDog, I use Pinnacle Studio 10. I haven't figured out why it does what it does but, it seems to have something to do with the file size of the clips. As a work-around I'm building my video in Studio 10 because it has the features I like, then when it's done, I import it into windows movie maker to make the finial video. Works OK but it's a pain in the ass.

Sorry I removed the video from my site but, hopefully I'll have the finished product up my the end of the weekend.

Your new program sounds cool but, I don't want to spend the money to upgrade until I get some new videos to work with....mine are getting a little stale.

Yeah, I would love to get my hands on some new footage too.

McChord is having an airshow this year, rumor has it the best it has had in many years.... I am hoping for a hog demo.. west coast demo team isn't listing it, but I can hope! Got my HD video camera ready to go. It lasts 2 days. Will take my 2 boys one day, then the other day is just me, my camera, and video camera! If the weather cooperates, maybe get some good shots with Mt Rainier in the background!

Keeping my fingers crossed for a raptor showing too.... [bounce]

Well I was not able to get passed the micro-shudder issue no matter what I did. I tried saving it in many formats including AVI/MPEG1/2/3/ and ipod with no luck. The only format where it doesn’t shudder is Real Player. Below is the finished video in both Real Player (28meg) and Windows Movie Views (18meg) including the shudders for those who can’t play Real Media. I guess I’ll have to reload my video program and see if that helps but, I work to damn hard on this video not to post it before it’s deleted.

HogDog, will your program allow you to import the Real Media video and resave as a Window Movie Viewer file??

Thanks everyone, I had fun with this one. Dutchy, you like my solo. 8) I'll keep looking for a way to convert it to Windows Views so more people can watch it.

Will Let you know...

HogDog, didn't know you were on dial-up, I feel your pain brother I'm also stuck on dial-up while they upgrade the lines in my area. Have you down-loaded the vid yet? If not hold on and let me make a small test vid of say a meg just to see if you can do it or not. If you find you can I can cut the size of the Real Player video in half for you to get. Let me know what's up....

Was that Dio? The wmv file worked great for me. There was no studdering at all. Have you tried it on another computer? The only thing I noticed was you spelled Salina Slaina in the beginning. Awesome job. I'll throw it on the site whenever you think its ready.

The soundtrack is Dio along with two members of Black Sabbath, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, and the drummer from the band "Dio" Vinny Appice. They are known as Heaven and Hell. The song is off their "Live at Radio City Music Hall" DVD and it's titled "I". If you like Sabbath with Dio (or just some of the best heavy metal around) this is a must have DVD>

I haven't tried it on any other computer... so you aren't getting any studder when you play it back?? Hey, that cool with me, let me correct the spelling and I'll get it uploaded and you can post it on the Hawgsmoke site.

Hey Dice--
I got it downloaded overnight, got the whole thing. This is the first time I have attempted to use an rm clip, and for some reason when I try to import it into my video program, it tells me it is an unreadable file. Not sure if something got messed up with the download or not, and i don't have any other rm files to check that with. Am trying to locate some other rm file online to download and test. My program's help section says it can do rm files, so if I can get another, I will try it and let you know...

Ok, so I wrote all this before reading everyone else's posts...looks like there may not be an issue. I will stay tuned to see how it ends up. let me knoe if you still want me to work on it.
