Can you verify my old bird is there getting \"C\" modded? If it is, can you verify the hours on her? I got a report from someone that it's almost at 12,000 hours and wanted to verify.

Weasel, I don’t have access to the hangar where they are doing the PE mod and the aircraft forms are keep in another hangar and not on the aircraft like at the unit. I’ve got a friend who may be able to help but it will take a few days. I’ll keep an eye out at the flight test hangar (where all the aircraft come through) and it will pass through there sooner or later but again, it may be a while.

Sweet Mark. Maybe he can do a little further research and find out the top 3 for hours. If I remember right, the last time Dice gave me a running count it was the 354th's SQ/CC's jet at the time, my jet and a Pope jet in that order.

Got it. Yeah it was 278. The other guy I asked said it has about 200 hours more than what you told me. But with the difference in dates, it sounds right. A 12,000 hour A-10 is soon to happen!

12000 hours? incredible!
Both 278 and your log-in name 204 spent their early careers at Woodbridge in the 78th and 91st TFS's respectively.

Yep. She broke 10,000 while we were in Bagram in 2003/2004 for AEF Silver.

I was only assigned to 3 jets. First was 80-204 (Former Demo Jet), then 80-236(Made a Demo Jet for the 2003 season), & lastly 80-278 was the only jet I was DCC on before I cross trained.

80-204 also had the honour of being regularly used by the last USAFE A-10 Demo pilot in 1991.........I'm sure those USAFE demo pilots threw the Hog round with more gusto! 8)

204 still has stickers in the nose wheel well. Not sure if they are from the 1991 season, but I know it was used by the WCDT in the 1999-2001 time frame.

It didnt do every display in 1991, but it does appear to have been favoured by the demo guy that year when available.
Always remember them saying that 91 had the demo in 91, the 'Year of the Streak' (91st TFS in 1991)
