Just thought I'd show off my armour A10s....I just moved into a house and the extra bedroom is going to be my A10 room...I have on order the "JAWS" armour A10, and getting ready to order the "Peanut" one when I get back from TDY. Enjoy..

I WONDER IF THEY EVER MADE A 23TFW COIN FOR ENGLAND AFB. LA.?

Very nice Paul!! I have a new contact at Osan and I will rengage Monday on the coins.

Goose, "back in the day" I think coins were mostly for the pilots, they only become popular with maintaince in the last 10 years. I bet there was a coin for the 23rd at England but you would have to find a pilot who flew then to get one.

i would love to get 1 one of those coins the only hog things i have is a cople of a 10 plastic models. The walk around the A-10 Warthog Book and my patch wich says:

by the way which squadron is it from? do you call it a squadron or is it Wing?

Actually...the Air & Space Mag the A-10 pictures are from the former 70th FS, which was once at Moody AFB...

The Boys from Syracuse NY are the 174th, They did fly A10s before storm, and transitioned to the F16 shortly before their deployment.

Goose, I think coins became big in the mid to late 90's. Iknow that when I was at Incirlik in 2000 there were several stores in the Alley that made custom coins.
