Finally got around to putting up a video I made this spring for the 111th FW at Willow Grove. Special thanks goes out to them who were very helpful and straight up kind enough to allow me to get some great footage of our local hometown unit. Hopefully I can get some more footage and photos before BRAC takes all the hawgs away, especially out at the ranges! I'm really gonna miss them here. Thought I'd post it here for all to see. Enjoy!

BRAC

Waltz, very nice work on this video. It doesn’t contain many “action” shots but, is well put together and the music is very appropriate to the clips. Two thumbs-up.

Yeah I hope to get out to the nearby range this summer a few times and grab some more footage, and probably make one more at least for the 111th before they are finished. I think I'll be working on an overall A-10 music video soon too...as I have air show footage, along with other units at the ranges pre-BRAC.

Is there also a link on a website (not youtube) that i can use to put the vid on a dvd? I do that also with the clips from Dice-man.

Not exactly what you are looking for but..... I've used keepvid.com for getting videos off the internet like youtube and google video. you simply put it in the url and then use the second download (.mp4 - high quality). i've had great success with that, and the quality isn't that bad compared to what youtube shows. other than that, i don't have it anywhere yet online other than youtube, ......

Nice job Waltz. Though I too would like to see a little more action, I think it fully serves the intent to show off the unit, and the people.

About the only other thing I think might make it better, would be to bring out the background sound a little more, like the jet noise and the muzzle blast, the radio traffic.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll be making another one hopefully with more action footage. I wanted to use only video that I shot, and only making it a few times to the range didn't give me enough to use, at least for this one....the one I made before didn't have any action in it, so I'm slowing working on that!
