I didn't see one set of ABUs in any of the pictures...could it be they are a bit too hot in the summer?

We are deploying around Aug/Sept and they said were going to have to get the ABU.

207 is in one of the pictures, it was at Eielson, still has the door art.

I'd tell them to \"Pay for them then\", What happens if you can't get any ABU??\" I guess you get to stay home Jack.

Hey remember Jack \"Santa Goose\" will be getting his list together for the \"Holidays\" . Don't forget to \"Mail a \"Wish List\" to the \"North Pond\"
I'll put in a \"Good Word for you\"

They will issue them this time. When I say have to get them I mean have to suffer through wearing them.

Although this deployments issuing of them and hopefully 1 more time before they become mandatory and I will have enough to last me until I retire and I will never have to buy one.

When I was at the Senior Academy jack all of the guys that had the ABU's in the desert said that they were absolutely horrible. Even the CCMSGT of the Air Force said they were really bad for the desert. I guess that is just another example of the Air Force half assing something instead of sticking woth something that allready worked. As far as I am concerned just straight beige colored fatigues would have been the best.

Lets see now,

Now going from the old \"Utilities to the BDU\" was I think the \"Best Choice \" they got right. Winter and Summer weight styles plus they \"Lasted\"
So they should of just stuck with the BDU style and \"Change the Colors\"

But I agree Billy, the Pilots \"All tan\" like the flight suits should of been the \"Scheme \" .

Now is the problem that their \"Heavy weight\"? like Winter style\"?
