I ordered BDU Tech stripes last week at aafes.com, this way if they're not in stock when I sew on I won't be forced to transition to the ABU. Well In the mail today what did aafes send me? ABU stripes. And clothing sales at Moody is all out of BDU E-6 stripes.

Does anyone have them in their clothing sales and can help me out?

I'll go by the one at Robins tomorrow, I can't buy them anymore but I've got a friend who can, if I find them I'll get you a set (only 1?) and let you know. I'll actually be down in Valdosta this coming weekend.

I'll try Lackland's Clothing Sales tomorrow, and some of the local shops if they don't have them the day after. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, so all I will have time for is to check clothing sales...

I found another place that you can get them from, $5.00 a pair though
(Hell I remember when they use to give them to you whenever or the BX had a \"Cabinet with Drawers \" you could get the GSA ones loose for like 15cents a pair and you patches, name tapes were $!.00, USAF tapes (Nylon) were .50 cents and they would sew on your Stripes and patches, USAF tape and had the machine to make your name tags while you waited for I think $6.00 a shirt on utilities.
They did my \"Blue Utilities\" for free.
That was all the way thru Yokota and Buck Sgt, then I get to England AFB and its a \"New World\"
$12.00 for sewing on the \"Patches and Stripes\" waiting 10 days for Tapes .

Hey did any of you ever get your name tapes and they \"Faded out in less than 3 months?\"Turning basically Grey\"?
