Have A-10s always been fitted with these or is this something new? There was a PA A-10 at the RI Air show that had one. I thought it was some kind of C mod until I asked the pilot. He said it was a Satellite Antenna because they were heading over soon and this was the only way to communicate.

I can't say I've ever seen one before.

That's the BLOS mod. Brand new, still being installed on the fleet.

By special request, I was asked to point out it's a \"Plus\" rather than a \"C\" model.

Don't ask guys, it's a long story.

I believe it was a Lacrosse team logo, I couldn't get close enough to get a good shot.

Right you are ...Philadelphia Wings...the local Major League Indoor Lacrosse team...yep...

It's been on for quite a while....I was told an old crew cheif was a big fan....no one ever took it off, even after the crew cheif left.
