Sorry about bringing this up again jbpig but I need to get the linage straight if I want to use it in my book. The way I have it now is the original DT (without 75th earring) was painted on aircraft 79-0217 by Bobby Coulter in the 1989 timeframe. 217 went to the boneyard, with this door still on, in 1992 after Woody closed where it sat until being removed in 2000 for refurbishment.

DT2 (with 75th earring) was painted on aircraft 78-0655 at Pope in the 1992-3 timeframe by Steve Long, both Steve and Don Logans’ book backs-up this statement. I photographed DT2 (now with the words “Boy” and “So don’t clown around”) still on aircraft 78-0655 but, she’s now stationed at New Orleans. 655 went from Pope, to Shaw before ending-up at NO.

So it looks like DT1 was painted on 217 at Woody which ended-up in the boneyard in 92. You had DT2 painted on 655 at Pope which followed you to Shaw before moving to NO where it stayed on the door until at least 2000. How does this sound to you?

Ugly But Well Hung

At woody i crewed 80-0271 and 80-0205, then at Pope I had 205 again, and at Moody, the jet kinda followed me around, but I didnt have 205 at woody painted with dangerous toy, it was the Iron Maiden cover from number of the beast (which should have been on 78-0666), I cant remember the tail number for sure at woody, but for sure at Pope, then DT2 came to Moody with the door art on it and I got the jet back if memory serves me right before they took all the door art off. For some reason the DT2 picture you have posted here dosent look right, maybe its a DT3? You can email me at jbpig1@yahoo.com if you need any further.
