I have an item I will give to whomever would like it! [banana]

I will do much the same as Goose did with his model............I will take the names of those interested and place them in a hat for a drawing on Sunday April 15th at noon.

The item being given away is an unopened VHS Video of the P-38 Lightning! It must be from a series of videos...Warbirds of World War II.

Package states it to be 40 minutes in length and filmed of course in both B&W and Color.

This item was sent to me a few days ago by my Dad, not knowing that I do not own a VHS player!

TO show how small.....hows this one.

Tuesday was voting day in Illinois for municipal races and school boards and the such.

I was elected to the Village Board of Trustee's!

3 seats available. 4 people running for them. Results.......

Little Old Lady Incumbent #1 (65 some odd yrs old)...............10 votes
Little Old Lady Incumbent #2 (Tirned 99 yrs old on Valentiines).....6 votes
Some other newcomer guy to town...............4 votes
Me.................9 votes!

I have lived here only 9 months and almost garnished the top number of votes! LOL
Plus you get $15 a meeting as a Trustee! Woo Hooo

And no the post office is not in the grain elevator! Close to it but not same building!

Hey I know his town, their use to be a \"Bar\" if I remember right
\"Many MOONS AGO\"
If I lived 1 mile north of here I would of been in the \"Pittwood\" area and the have a Gain Elevator and Post office and they have 81 people and you have to go to the Post Office between 0800 and 10:00 and again at 1400 to 1530 to get your mail.
Most of the time the Folks at the Elevator go over and get the folks mail that can't get it during those hours so they can get it when they get off work or get your Family or Friends to get it when they get theirs.

Small Town America, but they have a FIRE DEPARTMENT.

My town has 3100

Goose

I just paid $3.05 for Super Unleaded.....Regular Unleaded was $3.10.
Yeah I know thats backwards, but the Casey's convenience stores get Super at a better wholesale and thus sales it at the lower price.

They said I was about 1 of only 4 or 5 peole that noticed it was cheaper! Most are still pumping regular at the nickel higher!

I run Super anyway in the HEMI so price is no object if you need gas! LOL

30 MM? Cape Girardeau? Watcha doin down that way?
Be careful there, you might run into my Mom & Dad or maybe even my little brother...............hell you might just run into any number of folks I know that live there! LOL
