I'm still trying to figure out what they were. My first thought was some kind of jumping spiders, but they're REALLY predatory and wouldn't be communal like that. They had to have screwed up on the size description, because there's no way something that big could be tap-dancing on your eardrum without really feeling it. Just plain weird.

I read last something about sleep and insects. Do you know that we in our sleep eat 2 spiders and a few other insects in a year? Yes, it is real.

Darwinism? Like the time I cleaned out my freezer and found a cryogenically frozen housefly.

Must of flew in there on some secret mission...and probably has it's name up on a wall somewhere...

But after how long? lol Anytime somethin's been crawlin' around in my ear, I've noticed it immediately followed by vigorous and concerted clearance efforts.
