This is from the guy who did the door art. I had asked him about the history, this is his reply. Dice, do you have 218's door? If not, I can probably get a picture of it.


Actually the idea
to depict the classic \"M. Monroe\" look was brought up to me by the crewchief
and the pilot. We searched for images and decided that ms. Monroe in the
Idaho gunny sack was the most suited for an Idaho jet. I changed her
haircolor to reddish brown at the request of the crew chief who
prefers redheads. Adding the 30mm rounds to the bag she was holding (instead
of potatos) was my decision. I hope to do many more of these before I
retire. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you got to see acft. 218s door
as well.

OC, great info on the door...thanks! BTW would the artist like to give me his/her name for my history files? Also keep in touch with this person because it looks like he/she will be a goldmine of art and background info.

Yes I do have 218, another great piece of work (I have the history on this one already)....
