Glad y'all enjoyed it- it's a work in progress, so the site should stay pretty dynamic. I'll try to get more 'toons up and update more than once a week. If you have any comments or suggestions, I'm always open for ideas. Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers,
Zero

Zero,

Will I be able to keep up with the Hog Community since the Hog Log is dead?

Coach,
It's funny you should mention that- Sluf and I were just kicking around the idea of opening a log back up. I don't think my site would be the best place for keeping up with the community- too narrow a focus...just one guy's perspective. But I'll try. Which will have just gotten harder as I head to the black hole of the staff world. But that in and of itself will make for a lot of material.
Cheers,
Zero

Nice Site Zero,

I like to see &Hear from the \"Pilots\", We might \"Bitch about the Pilots\" but it's a 2 way street.
But No matter Crew Chiefs & CrewDawg's Love their Pilots.(Most of them anyway)

And every pilot knows, behind a great jet are the crew dogs that keeps her purring like a kitten. And the only reason our names are on the jet are to make us treat them like they were ours, but the jet belongs to the Crew Chief. Fortunately, there are plenty of leaders out there who still teach the young hog drivers the mantra that a Crew Chief doesn't drink on his dime when the pilot is around- you just take care of the guys who take care of you. Once I get the combat journal part of my site up, I've got a great vignette about a young crew chief and my first combat mission over Iraq in 2003. But I'll save the story for later. Thanks for checking out The Crate.
Cheers,
Zero

Some of Us still remember those Great \"Days\" of \"Drinking\" with our Pilots, alot Beer flowed, and Laughs. We learned alot on those Trips. Mission's over Nam, their assignments,Their famlies , in turn they found out about our lifes, assignments and famlies.

It really helped, get rid of \"Friction\" that some had with each other and the flip side it was always an \"Honor\" to buy \"Our Pilots a round too\".

The the next day , it was back to buisness. I hear the stories of the past 10 years of the \"Wall\" between the ranks , and how some squadrons don't drink together (Pilots and Crew Chiefs) due to the \"Higher- Ups\" who in their day probably did .

So I glad Theirs still pilots that think \"The Old way\" it's important that these \"Young Pups\" know that isn't dead.

Thanks Zero
