For those who lived in the States or visit Texas.
I think this intresting if you want to see a little part of A-10 history.

If some would go to there, tell me (or us) if the collection was good.

Well observed, Dutchy! Today, on my blog I posted the following message: http://warthognews.blogspot.com/2009/01 ... ay-at.html

Unfortunately, some related well-known archived photos on USAF's public main website were \"scraped\" again since beginning of 2009. I'm still very busy to re-check related archived USAF photos to get the original USAF PA captions, dates of shots, and the names of USAF photographers.

Except that article is about the National Museum of the US Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio! The major who donated the items was from the 12th Flying Training Wing at Randolph, and the Public Affairs officer there wrote the article.

But the museum at Wright-Pat is well worth a visit!

Cheers! M2

Oops...Sorry, now i see it. But in first time i didn't saw that it was in the National Airforce museum. Okay everybody that can has now to move to Ohio

And i have visit Dayton Ohio, went two days in that museum. It is really great. But that was 10 years ago (than was it two big main buildings, now three), i think you can spend now three days there.

I'll never understand why the AF authorized the Combat Action Ribbon for aircrew. It's their job. Besides, I think he got the DFC as well; usually only one award per event.
