Wheres the \"Tony the Tiger\" cartoon Face on the Nose ?
Plus all the Corp. Sponsors Logo's? thats all thats missing.
The patches are nice but the Engines are alittle much.
That should of been a smaller \"Item\" on the front side like the Mass ANG did with the State Patch.
We wanted to put the \"Vanguard\" patch on for Us in the AMU plus Op's and they said \"NO\"

And they use to \"Scream at us\" for a little \"Ladder Door Art\"

Oh well,

Got Bud???

The 107th has always had the \"Red Devils\" on their jets. The 16's had it on the lower portion of the V-stab. I see it as a continuation of the \"Battle Creek\" on the nacelles.

Thanks for posting your additional pictures, Hogfixer2001! Will you take part in Saturday's ceremony?

You are right, Weasel_80-204! Let me check my F-16 photo archives for a good shot of a 107th FS Viper with "Red Devils" markings...

I did a school to work program with the 107th back in 1999/2000. I spent some time in the engine shop & E & E. I also did a day or two with fuels, Phase, and the crew chiefs. Got to do a night EOR with my little brother (he about crapped his pants) and did a couple Hush house runs (one full aircraft, one engine and test stand).

I will be there but not sure if i will be involved with the dog and pony show!
I think the markings are ok. There was talk of doing more which would have been too much! at least everyghing is subdued with no cartoons on it and it's similar to what B.C. had before. Heck it's still a hog and i'm just happy to continue working on them no matter what they look like!

Hogfixer2001! Can/will you verify the serial number of the unidentified 'Hog' which made the photographed low-level pass over Selfridge ANGB, Michigan, May 2, 2009 (probably related to the news article \"Selfridge Air Wing Launches First A-10\")? Was this really the only 107th FS 'Hog' which flew on May 2, 2009 (Saturday's ceremony)?

And: On that historical day, was A-10C 81-0975 only photographed on the ground?

By the way: I would be very grateful for any further first-hand support to documenting the 107th FS's new mission with the 'Hog'.

There were 4 aircraft that flew. 975 was not one of them.

Thanks, Hogfixer2001!

Today, on 127th Wing's public website I found a very nice video clip: \"Warthog\" officially arrives at Selfridge (released by 127th Wing Public Affairs) http://www.127wg.ang.af.mil/shared/medi ... 03-015.wmv

Among the four aircraft that flew were the following three ex BC 'Hogs': 80-0258 (still with BC tailcode), 81-0996, and 81-0998.

By the way, 81-0975 (only displayed on the tarmac) is also an ex BC 'Hog'.
