Been there from 86-92, 78th AMU. Looking for photos from that era. Flightline, folks, Woody's, Desert Storm, 91st pics. I'm starting a photobucket site (not sure if there's a better site to start one) about life and folks during that time frame. I had some of my best years there, met some great people.
Or maybe this forum would allow a section to post/archive photos?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's a very good site. Can't seem to find pics from the 80's - 90's unless i'm looking in the wrong area

Special thanks for posting this historic picture of 81-0955 from the 81st TFW (coded 'WR'), probably last assigned to the 190th FS, 124th Wg, Idaho ANG. But surprisingly, there are zero squadron markings. Because you were with the 78th AMU at that time, was this A-10 assigned to the 78th TFS 'Bushmasters' (locally known also as the 'Snakes')?

By the way: Some other 81st TFW squadron markings are known to me from 'Fairchild A-10 - Fighting Warthog' - World Air Power Journal special by Rick Stephens, 1995.

We didn't put squadron markings on the jets until about 1986 or so. Prior to that, all the 122 aircraft were identical.

The ALA pic is probably Bentwaters.

The 'EOR' shot looks like Bentwaters taken from 'Commie corner'.
Loving these photo's, always great to see WR pics.

Not to derail the thread to much, but LA1986, when were you with the 354th?

Fantastic to see the old pictures. In those days i was young and just started with mine hobby (collecting patches and going to airshows). I am glad that i did see the planes of Bentwaters on an airshow in the Netherlands (think that was 1987 or 1989).

Guys, you must have a lot of good memories about those days.

I was at Woodbridge from 86-88, then at DM 358th Lobos, back to Woodbridge from 90-92 then to DM 354th Bulldogs.
Been trying to find a decent 78th TFTS Bushmaster image to replace the Bulldog but have had no luck yet.

I'm not disputing whether this is your photo or not but i never claimed to be the owner of it. There are some that are my own on this page such as the picnic, gun system on the trailer, A/C 649 in the tabvee, Alhorn AB. I've never visited the links you provided thus i did not get the photos from those links. I only gathered photos to share with everyone who appreciates the twin base, the FOL's and memories. To avoid any problems, i will remove them from this page if you would like.

The row of HAS's is Alhorn AB from one of my TDY's there in 1987. Anyone been there and remember the Highlife bar?

Here's another Alhorn pic taken from roughly the same location but looking the other direction.

I thought Woodbridge the first second I looked, then remembered that the HAS's aren't in a straight row like those in the pic.
