I am a real geek when it comes to new things on the computer, even if they turn out to be less than perfect........I just finished registering for the new AF Portal!! Yippeeee.....anyhow, it seems to be fairly well put together thus far, only a few hours into it. We'll see. Skepticism is a character flaw of mine.....anyhnow I thought the AF Instant messenger was kind of cool, so anyone who has signed up and have it running I would be interested to see how the thing works......I think my IM name should be the same as my logon name which is martin.d.birchmeier if anyone is interested.....give me an IM so I can see how it works........or post your user name here so I can try adn IM you.........

Where does one sign up? Can anyone sign up, or do you need to be something specific?

I'm guessing you can get to it from anywhere, but when you sign up you have to give social security info so they might be limiting members to AF personnel only.

Where do you go to sign up? Come to think of it, I don't even know my Social Security number. I know my Israeli one though.
