I am looking for some information on the history of 80-201. We got her shortly after Desert Strom and would like to know her history. What unit did she come from, what did she do in D.S.? Thanks for the help, KC Hawg

From the records it would seem 80-201 served with the 76th at England AFB, however there is no mention of it in lists of Hogs that went to Desert Storm.
There was a 79-201 out there and even a 77-201 but no 80-201.
Having said that, I don't think alot of the lists of DS A-10's in the Hog books are that complete.
Maybe sgt goose can supply a bit more info?

80-0201 WAS A 75TH A-10- AT ENGLAND AFB, 79-9201 WAS A 74TH JET THAT DID GO TO THE BOX.

BUT WE DID HAVE SOME BLACK TAILS AS REPLACEMENT AIRCRAFT LATER IN THE WAR.THE ONLY 201 I REMEMBER WAS 79-9201 OUT OF THE 74TH

Hey Goose, did you and your wife ever get that book? It's very easy to mix up Yosef and Josef in Hebrew, they're both the same name, except Josef is the English version of the name.
