is this related to them trying to use the main RADAR array as an "all purpose aperture" for coms, RADAR, and navigation? (I know they were wanting to try that) of is it stricktly just tying all these funtions together in a software package?

thanks stress, I was just reading much of this in last weeks AV-Week(still trying to get caught up from vacation LOL ). Now if we could just get quality control on JASSM we'd be making headway all around. Heard they're having control mitigating temps on the F-35B because of the high heat generated in VTOL mode. They're using the fuel as a heat dump but in low fuel conditions like landing, there isnt enough fuel to do the job as well as they would like.
