I'll take any Hornet SH or otherwise over anything except Eagle and maybee Europhoone(pretty even there) for multi-role. Sukhois with western avionics is a different kettle of fish, and I dont know about thier reliability, anything built east of the Rhine is suspect in that regard.

What we rather fly in? I think neither the Raf. or F-18. I'm think of all the great multi=role aircraft there are I would likt to fly the P-38. Now that has to be the GREATEST fighter ever. Hell who wouldn't want to fire 4 50cal and a vulcan cannon at something you don't like.

The 37mm was in the P-39 booms.

The P-38 had a 20mm.

they built only 36 -d models with the 37mm cannon. so it will be hard to find a pic (and a pic on which you can identify the 37mm!)
because of a faster rate of fire and the fact that there would be more space for ammuntion they used the 20mm in the "e" model and all following models instead of the 37mm.

If the 20 had 150, the 37mm couldn't have had more than 75 tops.

Just a wild guess, but i'd go with 65.
