I know this site very well; it's very good!
I'm just waiting for my Super Hornet question to be answered.

Super cruise, my main interest so far.
If anyone can theorize, it would be those guys.

I saw the write-up on the F-35 and I was amazed to see that the Raptor had 25,000lbs of internal fuel! I read on a site devoted to the Raptor that it only had 13,666lbs.

13,000 would be WAYYY low. F-15 has around 13,400 and you know the F-22 engines (supercruise or not) pass a lot of gas.

The Boeing JSF entry carried 18,000lb and it was ALL in the wing, no fusalage fuel at all.

I remember reading the text over and over to see if I missed anything about the internal fuel weight; I didn't.
They must of meant in each wing. Seeing that the Raptor has a wing area of 840sq ft, that can be accomplished.

One can't help but notice that there is no mention or comparison to our A-10.

That's because the A-10 has NO comparison, but you needn't me to make that assumption.<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

I didn't know that the C-version JSF didn't have an internal gun; that was news to me.

Weights and fuel fractions for the F-22 are closely held information. Don't bet on what you read on internet sites. They are just speculating.

Didn't know that info on the Raptor was so secret, thanx for the input.

*A-10 Stress, May I ask you something that was curious to me: Why did you erase all your previous posts before you went "on-leave" from our beloved WT? Those were very interesting reads.

B and C will get that stealthy centerline pod, they may be using the space on them for ECM rather than gun.
