LETS SEE NOW JUDICAL WATCH IS A RIGHT LEANING GROUP.GO FIGURE

WHY HASNT THE NAVY IN THE PAST 30+ YRS LOOKED INTO IT?(HUMMMM?)

BUT AT THE SAME TIME,HOW DOES YOUR WHOLE SERVICE RECORD COME UP MISSING?
PAY RECORDS DONT COUNT. IT WAS ALL DONE IN TRIPLE PAPERS AND WHY DIDNT THE PRES KEEP COPIES?

BUT THEN AGAIN SOME PEOPLE "JUST HAD MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO" AFTER 5 DEFERRERMENTS
(DICKY)

ITS A DEAD HORSE FOLKS IT'LL KEEP GOING IN CIRCLES ITS TIME FOR BOTH SIDES TO MOVE ON.

LIKE POSTER EARLIER CHENEY'S RECORD AS DEFENSE SEC. HE HAD A "BIG AX" LATE 80'S EARLY 90'S .
BUT LIKE IT WAS SAID "HE MUST OF HAD A REASON"

The biggest issue here is that Kerry is the one who kept bringing up what a hero he was. You cannot just dangle that carrot out there and not expect someone to just let it lie. He made his bed and now he has to lie in it.

Oh well... I wade into this....

I've read "Unfit for Command".

My first comments are about Kerrys "4" months in Vietnam. 2 tours. His first tour was about 6 weeks on a ship well off the coast away from any hostilities.... Kerry is using a technacality to claim 2 tours.

My second. His 1st month, on his "2nd" tour was spent at Cam Rahn Bay.... Hardly a true war situation.

All I have to say is read the book by the Swiftees. Since I'm not sure exactly how this board runs I'm sure I'll get blasted by some for my views on this. But its okay.

I think he needs to be put in the back seat of an old Oldsmobile, turned upside down in a brook in Cape Cod for a while and left to think about it.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

The odds of you getting blasted here for speaking out against Kerry are mighty slim USAF Lady. ;)

The worse that will hapen is that Sgt.Goose(a beloved friend of the board, btw), will remind us all that there's plenty of trickery and lies from both parties.

And of course, that is the truth. It still doesn't change the fact that Kerry is a scum bag though. However, i don't feel it unfair to mention that, because i also think Cheyney is an evil bastard too. ;)

The top 5 most despised American figures on this board, in this order(for me at least, lol):

1) Kerry
2) Clinton(both of them)
3) Cheyney
4) Frmr SecDef McNamara
5) Donald 'rumnamara' Rumsfeld
6) Honorable mention- T. Kennedy

I WOULD PUT McPEAK IN THERE FOR THE BLUE SUITERS AT #7

USAFLADY, I JUST CANT BRING MYSELF TO THROW WEIGHT BEHIND EITHER RIGHT NOW. SPENT MOST OF MY LIFE EITHER USAF OR UNION SO I FALL INTO THAT "SOUTHERN DEMOCRAT MODE".
LIKE SNIPE SAID BOTHSIDES AINT PERFECT,YOU JUST TO CHOOSE THE BEST OUT OF A BUNCH.

look the saddest thing here as a very conservative republican, but as someone who loves my country, is there non-longer is competition for heart of mainstream american's on the part of Democratic party. A strong viable Democratic Party keeps the system honest. Competition very necessary. I think I am going to puke the next time I hear politics should be gentle and kind. Politics is a contact sport, this how we take the measure of a man under pressure and get him to show who he is.

No one comming a way from Zell Miller's speach can not say this is what this man believes, we need very much to see what each man believes so we can decide who we want as president. SO far the things I know about kerry is he marries well, spent 4.5 months in combat, got 3 purple hearts but was never hospitalized, he made very controversial antiwar protest, and likes to wind surf like everyone does it.

Sometimes Goose I swear you were a learned philospher in your previous life.
You are right Snipe but personally I think that Teddy K. should be at the top of the list. I am from massachusetts but we dont love him here in my half of the state. We had the largest Air Force base in the eastern half of the US here in my local area untill the early 70's. Westover Air Force Base was the home of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. We also had the longest running Federal Institution here in the Springfield Armory (1750 something through 1972) This was the real springfield armory. These two federal sites made springfield one of the wealthiest cities in the nation and the home of small arms that made America great. Smith and Wesson, Savage Arms, Colt all were local industries that sprang from the depth of armament specialists and toolmakers. When Nixon didnt receive any electoral votes from Mass in his election for the presidency he decided to take away funding for military bases and ted Kennedy sold out the entire Eastern half of Massachusetts for one small navy yard in Boston. Two of the mightiest facilities in the american arsenall were closed because Teddy just didnt give a F**K about Western Mass. This had a devastating effect on the world class small tool industry that we had here because of the fire arms industry. The city of Chicopee was home to these tool makers and it was world famous for them. Chicopeee was also home to Westover air Force base. Western Mass have never recovered economically from it. Teddy should go the way of Mary Joe Koepekne.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

THE WHOLE THING SHOULD BE A LIMIT OF SO MANY $$$$ THATS IT.
NO 527 PRIVATE FUNDED GROUPS,OR ORG'S. WHAT THIS SEASON IS GOING TO COST IS GOING TO BE

PRIVATE JOE AMERICAN OR JANE CAN HELP WITH GETTING THE WORD OUT BUT CORP'S AND LOBBYIST NEED TO STAY OUT.
WHEN THE RNC AND DNC ARE BOTH PAID FOR BY BIG CORPS OR COMPANIES WHATS THE POINT?

OH BY THE WAY MATT A RECORD IS A ROUND DISK MADE OF PLASTIC OR VINLE(?) WITH GROOVES THAT HAD AUDIO RECORDINGS IMBEDDED IN WHICH YOU HAD A PLAYER WITH A NEEDLE THAT WAS CONNECTED TO A ARM AND THEN INTO A MEGAPHONE TO PLAY BACK THE AUDIO.
DEPENDING ON THE RECORDING SPEED DETERMINED THE RPM (REVOLUTION PER MINUTE) THUS RPM. 33(LP'S)ALBUMNS LONG PLAY ,45RPM FOR 1 SONG ON A SIDE AND MOST OF THE AUDIO BOOKS WERE 78'S

YES I'M YANKING YOUR CHAIN YOU KNEW THAT,I'M JUST SHOWING MY AGE.
HOW MANY DO YOU STILL HAVE?

Sniper as for your list:

1)Kerry couldn't agree more. Disgrace to fellow soldiers. You cannot on one hand trash and call them and accuse them of horrid crimes and then expect them to support you.
2)She's worse than him, but both are bad.
3)Bush needed to pick a new VP
4)Disagee with his placement above Rumy.
5)Rumy. Claims to be in charge, but won't take responsibility for anything but says nothing goes on without his knowledge. So which is it?
6)At least he's given up driving AFAIK.

May I add Madeline Albright to that list? Without her, there would not have been a Kosovo War.

Hey, I hear Teddy Kennedy is planning a road trip. Bridges I've almost crossed. Who's in? I think he is supplying the bourbon and hookers!

OH BY THE WAY USAFLADY WE CALL THIS HIGHJACKING A THREAD, YOU GET TO DO IT ONCE IN AWHILE,BUT DONT PUSH SNIPER ON IT.
