This plane shall be missed by us all. Even the movie Top Gun is now a movie with classic planes. Time for Hollywood for the remake?

The Tomcat isn't out to pasture just yet...VF-31 will be operational until September. That squadron is not scheduled to deploy again with F-14's. Barring any unforseen circumstances the F-14 will be gone this fall...

Oh yeah and by the way i am the lucky one because there is a beautifull D model here at the New England Air Museum. Its in the Pukin Dogs colors. Whenever I need a fix I can just take a 40 minute ride and go and nuzle up to it for a while. Kinda like its a wet nurse.
