When I get a Chance I'll post a few pic's but Had to go see the Dr, spent all morning there came home tried the Wife was at her Dr's appointment we got home and said "Screw-it" lets get a Burger.
Went to the local Drive-in picked-up something to eat and on the way home saw the Ford dealer got in new trucks.
Figured "Hey lets look, someday I'll have to retire the 98 ranger and I have to get the oil changed (154,327 miles).
They had FLEET TRUCKS in 2004's with all the "Bells and Whistles" I've been needing power windows, locks and seats for awhile along with tilt, my leg brace can hardley clear it.

He had 7 3 leather NOPE, a few had crank windows, no, had a
2004 F-150 HERTIAGE King cab,4x4 full power with tow package and the 4.6 liter V-8 (drove the 6 and my 4 had more "GET UP A GO!)so I looked at this 2004 it had only 23,954 miles on it,SUPER CLEAN!
The sales man started talking to the wife etc.... I was looking at the same truck next to it but it had Running boards(Got to have them)
and it had 51,000

So after 4 hours of horse trading, eatting my burger etc... the truck listed for $24,999(I checked the Bank) Avg price $21,000 I drove it off the lot Tax title etc....... everything plus they'll put the Boards on it for
$16,490 with trading in the Ranger. They had one of those "Special Tent Sales" plus they gave me a (VET brake)
So I bought it. I love it so when I get time I'll take a picture of it,

Goose

Man I couldnt believe the Wife <img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> When we dealed on both her cars she was ready to give them the "STICKER PRICE"<img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_cussing.gif border=0 align=middle>
SHE said "They have to make money too" <img src=newicons/anim_bs.gif border=0 align=middle> their making money!

Her 95 escort the dealer felt sorry for her after we were in their ,I was dealing she said "I'll take it!"<img src=newicons/anim_furious.gif border=0 align=middle> but he looked at me and figured he better make me happy.
Got it from $13,000 new to $10,000 off the lot, then her Chevy Malibu 2005 was a company car with 29,000 miles fully loaded listed for blue book $13,300 We drove that one off for $10,600 and again she kept going "Thats too much your asking, they wont do that?" They Did.

This time Man she LEARNED! She was relentless !<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
She was harder then me in the end the truck's worth $8000 more than I paid for it.
But it was their first sell of the Event plus they needed more Room for all those 2006 Baby's I could of got 0% on one of those but the cheapest I could find around here with a 6 banger (not with the Tow Package or V-8 either)and We looked messing around was $28,500 that was off the lot.
Might of not been my first choice of color, but I CAN LOVE IT MORE EVERY DAY!
for that price.

Thanks Boomer,

If you notice on the Truck its a 2004 F-150 EXT Cab but it has the
"Old style" body.
The Heritage model was that Ann special for the F-150 so when you look at the tail gate it say's Heritage under the F-150, BUT on the side up front it says F-150 XLT which should of said "Heritage" because trying to get a quote on it was a "BITCH" because they dont list a XLT Heritage, they list Heritage L,SL never XLT.
iTS A "fluke"due to them changing over in the middle of the year Body styles.
The truck was Built Jan 04 with the 2003 Body style. Maybe it'll be worth more one day.?

But I love it with that Tritron V-8 4.6L, I can finally say
"I have a Big Boy truck now" LOLOLOL!

Very nice rig Goose! I'll have to start a thread about our new rig. I've been working 2 jobs and haven't had too much time here at home.

You might be a "Bulldog" if: You bend over and grab your ankles when you hear: "EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!"
