I picked up my new truck on Friday, its a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic, its an 07 model, but it has the 06 body style, here are the details:

i saved 5500 off MSRP with my dads GM discount and dealer rebates.

since its an 07 model, i get a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty, which covers the drivetrain (engine/trans/rearend), but i splurged a little bit and bought the bumper to bumper warranty, which covers all the little parts, like Fuel pump, starter, sensors, brakes, etc.

now i dont have to worry about a thing for the next 5 years, woohoo!

Well since the topic has returned and I was given shit<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> about owning a Dodge before, here's a pic of my baby!

Although she's an '04, she just rolled 28,000 and is just as good shape as pictured here. No damage and just as bright when she gets bathed and cleaned!

Her stats are '04 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with the 5.7L HEMI
Tow Package, Elect Doors/Windows. Cruise, pretty much all bells and whistles.
I added the bed cover, tubular step bars, window vent shades, and American Flag/Eagle Head sunscreen in rear window.

She likes to run real fast, sometimes I just cant slow her down!<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> I have an 18.9 mile drive from my driveway to the parking lot at work. About 14.5 of it is country road running thru the cornfields (Watching for Bambi's as I go),and the rest on Old Route 66.
I work at 11:30 at night and fell asleep the other night when wife left for work at 10:00 p.m. Dog woke me at 11 p.m.!<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well I still showered, dressed, packed a lunch and was at work on time! I told her to get me there safe and she did! Left driveway at 11:13 p.m. and closed her door after parking in work parking laot @ 11:26 p.m.

Not bad huh? 18.9 miles in 13 minutes!<img src=newicons/tard.gif border=0 align=middle>
