I know somebody here has the right answer.
I read the book \"Warthog, Flying the A-10 in the Gulf War\" by William L. Smallwood.
Just read the episode about the Air to Air kills.
On the Warthogpen is the first helicopter a Bo-105 (on the picture a Dutch Bo-105, nice detail)
http://www.warthogpen.com/77-0205.html
But in the book is the status of the identity unknown by soldiers who saw it because there was not much left of it.
Question: Is the identity later confirmed after the the book was out? Or is it still not sure what helicopter it was?

Sorry for the long intro and than the question.

I think the picture is for informational purposes to show what the Bo-105 looks like. Not for identification purposes as to which country it was flying for. It might've just been the best picture available at the time so it was chosen to be put into the book is all. Perhaps a subtext could've been put in to make that point, though.

Dutchy, the ID on the chopper was later confirmed and the A2A kill is listed in official AF records as a BO-105. BTW the picture on my site was the best I could find on the net to show a 105.

WOW, just reading your site Dice, and saw that the Chopper Popper is now at the Air Academy down in the Springs. I may have to make a run down there this weekend for a look see. My Nephew is stationed in the Springs as well, good excuse to drop in for a visit. 8)

Sounds like a plan to me. Be sure to take your camera and snap a couple of pics, I don't have any good ones without all the equipment around the aircraft.

Thanks for the anwers guys. Dice-man, about the picture. I mean that not serious that you use a Dutch helicopter, but more as \"we flew them to\".
You know i like to see the Dutch version on your website.

Ice Pirate, if you visit Chopper Popper, tell us if you seen the plane.

Well, I didn't get down there this weekend, but be sure, that when I go, I'll get you some nice big shots.

This weekend I had to play in the ICE.

After 4 hours of swinging a pic and moving layered ice up to 10\" thick, I've rediscovered muscles and joints I'd forgotten I had. Thank GAWD for Motrin, my \"Forever Young\" pills. After that, I was in no shape to go anywhere.

Dice, I'll shoot you an email when I get some pics of her.
